This week on Marlborough 8.7

^ iPhone snaps // Waitsfield, VT

Happy Thursday! Josh and I are taking a long summer weekend, so today feels like Friday and I'm pretty happy about it. This week we have been a bit all over the place - trying to cram 5 days of work into 4 and also waking up extra early due to a new HVAC system being installed in our apartment. We have giant holes in our ceiling, lots of displaced furniture, a thin layer of debris over most of our bedroom, and a very confused pup named mac. But hopefully by this time next week we will have a completely new, working & most importantly, efficient, heat & cooling system. Major progress has been made this week, at least at work and home. But I realize that all this came at the cost of this blog and I have been a very BAD blogger this week. So apologies for the radio silence. I will be back next week with some fun stuff, I promise.

Anyway, you may have seen some snaps on Instagram from last weekend (I'm @lindseybach), but Alicia & Brad's wedding on Sugarbush mountain was so much fun. Due to some dark clouds, they unfortunately had to move the ceremony indoors instead of guests taking the chairlift to a mountaintop ceremony, but it was beautiful nonetheless. We got to spend Saturday morning exploring the picturesque Waitsfield, VT (special shout out to the iced coffee at Sweet Spot and the ice cream from Scout's Honor's farmer's market cart, incredible) with josh's brother and his girlfriend, and then dancing the night away at the wedding with a bunch of josh's friends from high-school. Another great summer weekend for the records. And congrats to Alicia & Brad!
Here's some fun links from around the web this week...

  • The most beautiful trees in the world.
