This week on Marlborough 6.13

^ The makings of the Idea Bus!

Happy happy Friday. I don't know about you, but I am ready for a relaxing summer weekend! This week marks the end of what I like to call "Gemini season", a string of endless family birthdays mixed in with Mother's & Father's days. In my family, everyone's' birthday but mine fall within about 20 days of each other (my dad & mom's birthdays were both this week!), so it's a really fun & busy time with celebrations. I spent Tuesday night up on the north shore for my mom's birthday dinner with all her oldest and dearest friends and celebrated with my dad last night on a dad/daughter date at Bistro du Midi, which was so yummy.

In other news, I spent most of the work week planning for and decorating an MBTA bus for Boston's Idea Week. I am so happy with how it came together! Can you believe this cozy lounge used to be a bus? If you are in Boston this weekend, but sure to stop by our "#IdeaBus", which will be parked outside South Station. And if not, I'll be sharing a little bit about what went into the design process and some more photos here soon!
Some more fun links from around the web this week...
