This Week on Marlborough 2.28

^part of the weekend crew at the top of Bear Peak

A few highlights from this week...
  • We had another successful winter edition trip to Attitash. I think it was the biggest group ever! I came out of the weekend with several bruises (beer olympics+icy trail+sleds+darkness = not a smart mix), but overall it was a great weekend filled with good food, good laughs, and good (spring-like) skiing.
  • It's been on our bucket list for a while, but josh and I finally took the plunge this week and signed up for an 8 week wheel-throwing class. Josh is an expert clay thrower and I'm a newbie so I'm a little worried I won't be able to keep up with him on the wheel, but I'm so excited to try it out and am already buzzing with ideas for all the cool mugs and bowls and plates I'm going to (try) to make. See some (ambitious) ideas I might try here
  • We got a bedroom rug! More on that (and photos) to come.
  • I spotted Milan Lucic at Red Lantern on Monday night and it was pretty neat.
  • I picked up my next book, Cutting For Stone, this week after some coworkers suggested it. I know, I know, I should have read it already. But I finally got my hands on it and am excited to start.

And a few fun things from around the web...
  • Loving these looks inspired by the Olympic me(t)dals.
  • I started following Brooklyn-based Ariele Alasko on Instagram and am pretty much obsessed with her work. Hello dream dining table.
  • These 15 people are kicking butt in Boston.
  • I think some mousse may be in order, no occasion necessary.
  • Magical mirror walls.
  • A couple DIYs to try before spring (1//2).
  • In honor of the Oscars (this Sunday!!), IMDB released their top 250 movies of all time. How many have you seen?
  • 26 of the most thought-provoking photographs. I stared at these for a long time.
  • Fill in the silence during award conversations.
  • This Parisian living room takes ombrè to a whole new level.
  • I can't tell you how excited I am about this.

Have a great weekend!
